Mr. Zaheed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Finance and Banking Affairs) from Kabul University and has over 10 years of progressive experience in governance, financial management, enterprise development, and inclusive economic programming in Afghanistan. He has served as Head of Program at Women’s Message Social and Services Organization, Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Industries and Commerce, and Finance Expert with NATO’s Combined Security Transition Command–Afghanistan. He is a senior development and business support professional with proven expertise in delivering Business Development Services (BDS) to MSMEs and women-led enterprises through capacity building, market linkages, financial literacy, and institutional strengthening. Mr. Zaheed has extensive experience implementing donor-funded initiatives, including UN Women programs focused on women’s economic empowerment, social inclusion, and entrepreneurship.
